This would be the last day of our short trip so we decided to take a slow ride towards home and look for some classic fall foliage opportunities in Somerset and Bedford counties in western Pennsylvania.  There are numerous covered bridges in this region so we took advantage of a couple of  self-guided covered bridge tours that we found on the internet.  It is nice to see that many of these bridges are still in use along less-traveled roadways!
